Leigh has extensive international experience in countries across the world, including Europe, the US and Africa. For over a decade, she was an integral part of the leadership team at Cape Town Tourism, where her responsibilities revolved around destination branding and marketing for Cape Town. Her CMO role extended beyond attracting visitors to the city; including supporting the education and upliftment of the local tourism industry and communities. Her work has been recognised by Skift, Destinations International, City/Nation/Place, World Travel Market, Entrepreneur and time.com, with Cape Town being named the #1 City in the World by Time Out in 2025. Leigh’s passion lies in problem-solving and creating practical methodologies to achieve strategic goals, that can be shared and applied across industries and continents to drive growth, innovation and prosperity as a whole.
